The movie concerns a camp counselor named Cropsy, who was horribly burned in a prank gone wrong. He then becomes a serial killer and methodically offs the teens responsible for his disfigurement. Pretty standard stuff, as slasher movies go.
I like to think of the film as a prequel to Seinfeld, that helps explain how George Costanza became the way he is!
The movie also featured the film debuts of actors Fisher Stevens and Holly Hunter. And the first movie produced by Harvey Weinstein (!). Yikes!
